HIPAA compliance is a critical concern to us. The Practice Resource is totally HIPAA-compliant. It starts with our fully secure login procedure.

Each user is assigned a user ID and password, and the system administrator controls the system functions to which the individual user has access. There is a “limited user” category that restricts the user to just three of the main menu options, and limits their access to only assigned patients and their own appointments. Personal health information is carefully protected as required under HIPAA regulations. We have never had a single one of our users cited by HIPAA for non-compliance with respect to our system.
