Each time you schedule an appointment, you look up the patient and the patient’s name and chart number are stored in the appointment. You may also schedule appointments for non-patients, such as evaluations, business meetings and lunches. You can schedule multiple appointments for the same time slot to accommodate group therapy sessions.

You can schedule either single appointments or recurring appointments.
When you bill a patient for their therapy appointment, the appointment status is automatically changed to “Patient Arrived” and the billing status is changed to “Patient Billed”. The patient’s name on the appointment schedule grid is changed from black to green to visually note the appointment as billed.
You can also save time and effort by billing the patient directly from the appointment window:

The integration between the patient charts and the appointment schedule is very valuable. At the end of each day, you use the appointment inquiry to search for any appointments that are still unbilled for that day, and you get a simple display of those appointments if there are any so you can bill them (again just three mouse clicks) and avoid losing money due to clerical overload or oversight.
